I bought these pants for a winter trip, and several seams popped even before leaving the house, and i had to sew them up myself. Over the course of a week walking along flat ground, the belt loops broke (i don't wear a belt, and no loops got caught on anything.) The thigh pocket seam unwound. And the crotch split open everywhere i didnt sew it up myself.
These pants are of absolutley abysmal quality. Miklagaard knows this, which is why they don't have returns for thier product. The fabric was suitable only if i wore a high quality base layer, but its put together with a single backstich of low quality thread. It doesn't matter how much Miklagaard insists the product or the thread is high quality, they cut many corners to drive up profit and it shows in thier flimsy product. If they had confidence in thier product, they would offer effortless returns. But once they have your money, they won't let it go.
Miklagaard has joined in the growing trend of enshittening thier product for short term profit, i had to return 3 pairs of pants from other companies but was able to return them instantly, which is why none of those companies have bad reviews from me.
