I live in a climate that is not extremely cold, but I am in love with this jacket. I’m 6’3” and fit well with a large. This is the warmest jacket I’ve ever owned, yet it is somehow still wearable in a car when other coats would make me sweat. I use it far more than I had expected, and I’m sold on the value of quality wool clothing now. The durability has been wonderful over the last year and I love how it looks. My complements to the folks who hand made this jacket—I appreciate the craftsmanship on what has become my favorite piece of clothing. I look forward to enjoying it for many years in the future.

Overall I am very happy with the quality of this jacket. It is made with care and is super warm and comfortable. There is one major design flaw in this coat. There is no way to close the sleeve openings at the wrist. The wind blows right up the sleeves and unless you have gauntlet mitts covering the sleeve ends you loose a lot of heat.

I really love the coat but this design flaw is frustrating. I will have to figure out a way to modify my sleeves with a snap button so that I can close them. Hopefully the design team can fix this for future customers.

I really appreciate the thoughtfulness and skill that went into making this jacket! It is incredibly windproof, warm, and quiet, while roomy enough for some layering underneath, if needed. The Napoleon hand-warmer pockets are very nice, while the lower flap covered pockets are roomy enough to hold gloves, hat, or the like without worrying they might fall out. And of course, the reindeer leather accents add some nice style! The one thing I would have liked is for the front metal zipper pull to be a bit larger or to have a leather pull added to it. With the storm flaps front and back, it can be a little awkward to get the zipper to engage (and I'll need to get accustomed to having the pull itself on the left side, rather than the right). Still, a great jacket that will keep me warm for years to come. 4 and 1/2 stars!

This jacket has exceeded my already high expectations. Simply put, all aspects including design, craftmanship, materials and quality are all done to an unbelievably high standard meaning you get an outstanding garment which you can wear for multiple activities. Its nice to be able to buy beautiful handmade garments which are very good value in this era of mass offshore production. Thank you!
