The Anorak is perfect for working or bei g outside in the cold season. It is really warm and cosy. I love the insulated pockets. The quality is really good.
An extraordinary Anorak!
The fit is loose probably because it is unisex. I wear normally a S, but in the Anorak I have the XS.
This is a top quality anorak from Micklagaard. I have worn this comfortably with a wool sweater and a vest down to temperatures of -13°C. I have also worn it comfortably to about +5°C. Excellent construction, and the wool does have some wind resistant properties to it. The button up throat guard will definitely help block that cold north wind when partially or fully buttoned up. I really like the sheepskin wool inside the hand pockets, and it keeps the hands and fingers toasty warm. Overall construction is tough and durable to where you can actually do real outdoor work in it. I knew this would be a great piece of gear when I saw a couple of contestants on “Alone” wearing Micklagaard products.
This isnt just one of the finest pieces of clothing I own, this is one of the finest anythings I own. The wool feels like silk and the quality of construction is like art. 5'11 210lbs 36" waist, xl fits like it was custom made for me. Cant wait to buy other products from Micklagard.
Great quality. Comfortable. Very warm! I wish only it was 10 cm longer in the front. I am 190cm long and the anorak is just a little too short. Feel the cold draft coming from below. The hand warmers are cozy but a little too small/shallow for us with big hands. So almost perfect.
The craftsmanship is unparalleled. You pay exactly for what you get - and it then exceeds those expectations. Well worth the money, a jacket to have for life.
