I never write reviews but these products deserve mine in my opinion.
6 months a year we live in the Italian mountains in a remote house where it becomes really cold in winter.
I always struggled with the right clothing, I was either cold or I became sweaty on long walks or working the in our woods.
A year ago I started with the Micklegard anorak which was a bit of a revelation.
I am slightly allergic too wool so I was hesitant, but being outdoor this does not pose a problem at all and the fabric they use does not seem to irritate.
The anorak is a little bit of a hassle (only in the beginning) to get on and I have to take off my glasses to put it on, but after you put it on I am in a warm but well insulated personal portable small "tent" which is amazingly comfortable and the front pocket is very handy while working with small tools.
In short; I was hooked, I bought the mittens, the hat, and the little blanket and it is all the same story, all warm and comfy and very well made. Too bad I managed to loose the blanket.
After being cold on my legs on walks this winter I decided on the pants.
These are not really cheap but they are totally worth it and not itchy at all, again very well made, and probably my daughter will be waring them someday.
I got the pants with the vents and these are nice if you become a bit warm, you can regulate temperature.
The company/family is a bit strange because you order the clothing and you only get 2 mails; 1 when you order and pay and 2 when it arrives.
You are dealing with a family who's business is making unique garments and not being Amazon and now I know this I am totally cool with that.
A small company/family that makes very well made unique garments which are worth every euro!
P.S. I hope they will start making shirts one day.
